During the 2018 legislative session, the General Assembly passed HB 257. HB 257 consolidated local authority registration and financial reporting into a single annual report known as the Annual Authority Registration and Finance Report (AARF). Authorities are required to submit the AARF to the Department of Community Affairs within six months of the conclusion of their respective fiscal years. For authorities with a fiscal year ending June 30, the submission deadline is December 31st.
